Precourse
Precourse:
Tuesday, September 15th from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM. There will be a lunch break, students are advised to bring lunch. Instructors: David Greaves and J. Stacey Yarbrough. Tuition cost $100.
Course I · Administration & Law
CCMC Course I: CT Tax Collection Administration & Law – ONLINE (Suggested Prerequisite- Precourse and Course IV) You must have a computer with a working camera and microphone.
Class Tuesday October 6th and Thursday October 8th from 2 pm -5 pm. Thursday, October 15th will be double, from 9 am to 4pm with an hour lunch. Tuesday October 20th from 2 to 5 pm. Thursday October 22nd will be a double, from 9 am to 4pm with an hour lunch. Final Exam will be in Berlin on Thursday October 29th from 10 am to 1pm. Instructors: Launa Goslee and Carla Hamel. Tuition cost $350.
Course II · Enforcement & Law
CCMC Course II: CT Tax Collection Enforcement & Law
(Suggested Prerequisite- Course I) This course will be on Wednesdays, starting on August 26th, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Class on September 2nd will be from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a half hour for lunch. The class on September 9th will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. The class on September 16th will be from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM with a half hour for lunch. There will be no Class on September 23rd. Class on September 30th will be from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and October 7th (final exam) from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Instructors: Peter Juszczynski and Beth Hamel. Tuition cost $350.
Course III · Municipal Finance
CCMC Course III: Municipal Finance Administration & Management
(Suggested Prerequisite- All other courses) This course will be on Thursdays, starting September 10th. The first two sessions on September 10th and 17th will be from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm. September 24th will be a double from 10:30 am to 5:00 pm with a half hour for lunch. October 1st and October 8th will be held remotely from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. October 15th will be a double from 10:30 AM to 5:00 PM with a half hour for lunch. Final exam on October 22nd and will be from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Instructors: Lisa Biagiarelli and Lisa Madden. Tuition cost $350.
Course IV · Government & Public Relations
CCMC Course IV: CT Government, Supervision & Public Relations
This course will be on Thursdays. The courses on September 10th, September 17th, October 1st, October 8th will start at 9:30 AM and end at 2:30 PM. Classes on October 15th and October 22nd (final exam) will be from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Instructors: David Kluczwski and J. Stacey Yarbrough. Tuition cost $350.

Attendance & course exams
Review your schedule carefully before registering. Course schedules may change, including remote learning, postponement, or cancellation. All courses are subject to student guidelines and committee requirements.
A student who does not pass a course final exam is eligible for one retake, on a date set by the course instructors. There is no universal retake date. Scheduled final exam dates cannot be rescheduled.
A student who misses a scheduled exam or retake must wait until Spring 2027 to take or retake it.
Recommended learning sequence
For students who have not taken Course I, the committee recommends Course IV as the first course. Students with less than six months in a tax office are strongly encouraged to take the Precourse.
